Valentine’s Day Brownies
Valentine’s Day Brownies are rich and fudgy and frosted with a sweet chocolate ganache and then sprinkled with your favorite festive sprinkles.

Would you like to save this?
I love making fun and festive treats to brighten up our days. This year with being inside more and attending less homeschools events, I decided that making some fun treats would be a great way to add a smile to our faces and break up the day.
I asked my daughter what she was really craving, and in typical female fashion she said “chocolate of course” and so we whipped up these Valentine’s Brownies and had a blast decorating them.

Frequently Asked Questions About Valentine’s Day Brownies
How can I make these brownies more cakey
Do you prefer thicker cake like brownies instead of fudgy brownies? My family loves fudgy brownies so I made this recipe based on our favorite. However, if you want to make the brownies more cake like it’s a simple fix. Add the following ingredients to your brownie batter and then bake. You may need to add an extra 5 minutes to your baking time to adjust for the thickness.
- Add one additional egg to your batter
- Also add an ½ teaspoon of baking powder a to give your brownies more lift
- Add in one tablespoon of flour to absorb a little more moisture.
Can I make these Valentine’s Day Brownies ahead of time
Absolutely. These Valentine’s Brownies can stay fresh once made for up to five days at room temperature. Be careful to avoid heat sources so that you don’t metl your chocolate ganance. These brownies freeze beautifully however, I don’t recommend putting the sprinkles on your brownies before freezing as they will soften in the freezer.
