Imagine layers of creamy caramel, crunchy cookies, and a chocolate coating that melts in your mouth. These little bites are so good that theyโ€™ll be flying off the tray before you can even say โ€œdessert.โ€

My family loves these Twix bites because theyโ€™re the perfect mix of indulgence and simplicity. They take minutes to make (no baking required!) and always impress at get-togethers. Plus, we love experimenting with different toppings, like flaky salt or crushed nuts, to make them extra special.

Step 3: Place in the refrigerator. Melt the almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Place one of the Rolo cookies into the chocolate and flip around using two forks. Place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat until all of them are coated. Once hardened, take a spoon, scoop a little bit of chocolate up, and drizzle over each one.

Hint: Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top while the chocolate is still wet for an extra gourmet twist.

Storage

  • Storage: Place your Twix bites in an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Freezing: Want to keep some for the future? Freeze them on a baking sheet first (so they donโ€™t stick together) and then transfer to a freezer-safe container. Theyโ€™ll last up to 3 months.
  • Reheating (optional): If you love gooey caramel, just pop them in the microwave for 5-10 seconds before serving.

Wendy’s Tips

  • Plan ahead: Pre-unwrapping your Rolos can save you a bit of time when assembling these bites.
  • Experiment with toppings: Crushed pretzels or a drizzle of almond butter can add some amazing flavor!
  • Melt with care: When melting the almond bark, use short microwave bursts (15-20 seconds) and stir frequently to avoid scorching.

What To Serve With Twix Bites

Want to turn these bites into a full dessert spread? Serve them alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent pairing or add them to a platter of homemade candy like chocolate-dipped strawberries or Kit Kat Fudge. For a beverage idea, theyโ€™re heavenly with a hot cup of Caramel Brulee Latte or dark roast coffee.
