There have been many times I’ve gone through a Starbucks drive-thru when I could have just made the drink myself at home. This Caramel Brulee Latte is the perfect example of how delicious a drink you can make for yourself.
This Starbucks Caramel Brulee Latte is one of my favorites because of its simplicity of it. It may sound extravagant but you are literally using 4-5 ingredients for the whole drink. You’re using coffee, caramel syrup, and milk! You are going to froth the milk and that will make this drink seem even fancier.

Substitutions
Don’t have everything you need on hand to make this recipe? Here are some of my favorite ways to switch this drink up, if I don’t have something on hand.
- Coffee – if you don’t have Pike’s Place blend on hand, then you can use whatever coffee you have!
- Caramel syrup – there are a lot of options for which kind of caramel syrup you use for this coffee. I use a LOT of caramel syrup in my drinks! Get a syrup you like.
- Whipped cream – feel free to get creative with what kind of whipped cream you’d like! I like to use Reddi Whip because it’s so easy to put on the coffee.
Even though this drink doesn’t require a lot of ingredients, you can still switch things out! If you like a certain product better, use that. It’s better to use the ingredients that you love because you’ll have a better homemade drink outcome.
Variations
While this drink is amazing as is, there are some ways in which you can change things up! Here are some of my favorite variations.
- Caramel drizzle – take caramel drizzle and put it all over the inside of the cup you’re serving this drink in. You won’t regret it. Pour a little caramel drizzle on top of the drink, too!
- Decaf coffee – if you don’t want the caffeine from the coffee, then feel free to use decaf.
- Kid friendly – you can stick with decaf coffee for the kids or just use milk in their “coffee.” Kids LOVE fancy coffee!
