- green candy melts
- vegetable shortening or coconut oil
- candy Eyeballs

🔪 How to Make Frog Oreo Balls
Prepare a baking sheet with waxed paper.
Place the cookies into a food processor and pulse until the cookies become fine crumbs.
Cut the cream cheese into chunks and add the cream cheese to the food processor. Pulse until the mixture is well blended and forms a large ball.
Using a small cookie scoop, portion the cookie dough into 1-inch balls and roll into a smooth ball.
Optional: For best results, freeze the oreo balls prior to decorating.
In a microwave-safe bowl, place the candy melts and shortening. Microwave for 1 minute and stir vigorously. Continue heating in 30-second increments, stirring vigorously between each heating, until the candy has melted and is smooth.
Dip each ball into the melted candy and tap to remove the excess candy. Place the cookie ball on the prepared cookie sheet.
Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or until firm.
To make frogs:
Pinch small amounts of the Starburst candies and roll them into tiny balls to be the cheeks. Set aside.
Using the remaining melted candy and a toothpick, place a small amount of chocolate on each of the decorations, including the eyes, and press it into place on the oreo ball. If the oreo balls are cold, the candy will set faster.
Using a toothpick and black icing, draw a mouth on each oreo ball.
Allow the candy to set completely prior to serving.
Hint: If the candy becomes too thick, microwave for a few seconds to remelt.

- When dipping the balls, if you find that they are falling apart, place them in the freezer for about 20 minutes to harden them back up before dipping again.
- Do not forget to tap the excess candy off of each ball or else it will pool at the bottom and make a mess.
- If you want to get really creative, you can pipe on little spots with black icing to make them look like real frogs.
How to Freeze Oreo Balls
- Prepare the cookie balls as directed but do not decorate as the candy eyes will run when they thaw. Place the oreo balls on the baking sheet.
- Put the baking sheet into the freezer until the cookie balls are frozen.
- Transfer the cookie balls to an airtight container. Seal and freeze up to 6 months.
- Remove and decorate as desired.
