Serving Suggestions
- Milk: A tall glass of cold milk is the classic pairing for any type of cookie, including chocolate chip cookies.
- Tea or coffee: For a warm and comforting treat, serve these cookies with a cup of tea or coffee.
- Ice cream: You can make an ice cream sandwich by placing a scoop of your favorite ice cream between two cookies for a delicious and decadent dessert.
- Fruit: Serve these cookies with fresh fruit like strawberries, raspberries, or sliced apples for a refreshing and healthy snack.
- Chocolate sauce or caramel sauce: Drizzle some chocolate sauce or caramel sauce over the cookies to make them even more indulgent and satisfying.
Pro Tips
- Chill the dough: Chilling the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes before baking can help prevent the cookies from spreading too much and becoming thin and crispy.
- Use room temperature ingredients: Make sure that your butter and any other ingredients that need to be at room temperature are actually at room temperature before you start making the dough. This will help ensure that everything mixes together evenly.
Storage
Leftovers: If you have leftover cookies, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days. They may lose their crispiness over time, but they’ll still be delicious!
Freezing: If you want to keep your cookies fresh for longer, you can freeze them. Place the cookies in an airtight container or freezer bag and store in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to eat them, let them thaw at room temperature before enjoying.
Freezing the dough: You can also freeze the cookie dough if you don’t want to bake all of it at once. Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze the balls until solid, then transfer them to a freezer bag or container and store in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to bake, simply place the frozen cookie dough balls on a baking sheet and bake as directed (you may need to add a couple of minutes to the baking time).

Great cookies, mine didn’t look quite as good as these but still were very good. Mine raised in the oven & flatten when taken out, watch these closely at the end of the cooking time otherwise they can be to crispy around the outline of the cookie 🍪.

I’m so glad that these cookies turned out so well for you. If you want a little tip about shaping them to look perfect, while the cookies are warm use an upside down glass, and place it over the cookie very gently roll the cookie inside of the glass. That shapes them into the perfect circle.
