This amazing blueberry tiramisu is a perfect twist on a classic dessert! This no-bake recipe transforms the rich, creamy classic tiramisu into a fruity delight with the addition of fresh blueberries and a hint of zesty lemon.
Tiramisu has long been a favorite dessert in many households, especially mine. But adding blueberries gives it that unexpected upgrade. Ingredients
To help you save time during your grocery run, hereโs a handy list of ingredients youโll need for your blueberry tiramisu. The exact quantities are available in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Heavy cream: Essential for creating the light and fluffy whipped cream layer that adds an airy, velvety texture to balance the richness of the dessert. Whipping the cream to soft peaks ensures it holds its shape without becoming too stiff.
- Mascarpone cheese: A key ingredient that adds a creamy, rich texture and a slightly tangy flavor, giving the dessert its signature luxurious mouthfeel. It also helps stabilize the whipped cream mixture for layering.
- Powdered sugar: Sweetens the cream mixture without a gritty texture, as it dissolves easily. Its fine consistency ensures a smooth and uniform sweetness throughout the dessert.
- Vanilla extract: Enhances the flavor with a warm, aromatic note that complements the other ingredients. A high-quality extract will intensify the dessert’s overall flavor profile.
- Fresh blueberries: Adds a burst of freshness, natural sweetness, and a pop of color to the layers. They also provide a pleasing contrast to the creamy and rich elements.
- Sugar: Used to sweeten the coffee or blueberry preserves, as needed, creating a perfect balance of sweetness to match the tartness of the fruit and richness of the cream.
- Brewed coffee (cooled): A crucial element that soaks into the ladyfingers, infusing them with a subtle coffee flavor that enhances the dessert’s complexity. Use high-quality coffee for the best results.
- Blueberry preserves: Provide a fruity layer that complements the fresh blueberries and adds a concentrated burst of flavor. Its jammy consistency helps bind the layers together.
- Ladyfingers: The base of the dessert, absorbing flavors and adding structure. Their sponge-like texture ensures they soak up the coffee and other liquids without falling apart, creating a firm yet tender foundation.

Instructions
This dessert comes together quickly, making it both easy and enjoyable to prepare. Below is a quick breakdown of the steps, but youโll find the full instructions in the recipe card below.
Step 1: Whip the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl with a stand mixer or hand mixer until stiff peaks form. Separately, combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth in another bowl. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
Step 2: Mash half of the fresh blueberries with granulated sugar in a small bowl. This creates a simple, chunky blueberry compote that layers perfectly into the dessert.
Step 3: Combine cooled brewed coffee with blueberry preserves in a shallow dish. Quickly dip the ladyfingers into this mixture to lightly coat them without getting them soggy.
Step 4: Arrange a single layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×9 baking dish. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers, and spoon half of the mashed blueberries over the mascarpone layer. Repeat the layers once more to build your beautiful tiramisu.
Step 5: Smooth the remaining mascarpone layer on top and finish with fresh blueberries for garnish. You can also lightly dust with powdered sugar or cocoa powder for a decorative touch.
Step 6: Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or overnight. This step allows the flavors to meld and ensures a creamy, cohesive dessert.
Storage
- Refrigerator: Store the tiramisu covered in the fridge for up to three days. The flavors will continue to meld, making it even tastier the next day.
- Freezer: While itโs best enjoyed fresh, you can freeze blueberry tiramisu for up to two weeks. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and thaw in the fridge when ready to serve.

- Serve alongside Lemon Meringue Cookies for a citrusy twist.
Wendys Tips
