💭 Tips
- If you’d like a thicker glaze, you can add a bit more powdered sugar to the mixture until the glaze reaches the consistency that you prefer. However, if you’d like to keep it light and thinner, follow this recipe to a T.
- I placed the blondies in the fridge for a couple hours to firm them up before serving. This isn’t necessary but it helpful when cutting.
- This bater is thick, you will need to press it in place when adding it to the prepared pan.
- You can garish these with fresh strawberries if you like.
- If you don’t want to line the pan with parchment paper, you can use cooking spray or baking spray instead.
- Add a hint of lemon zest and lemon juice to the glaze or batter for strawberry lemon blondies.
- Melted butter can used in place of oil in a pinch, if you need to avoid a trip to the grocery store.
- To get the parchment to lay flat inside of the pan, lay the piece over the top of the baking dish. Cut a diagonal line in each corner about 1-2 inches long. Press the parchment down inside of the pan and the edges should fold together.
