Clear Mug of Gingerbread White Russian

When the holidays roll around, people start getting a little excited for those fancy drinks you can make in your coffee cup. White Russians are popular all year round, but the gingerbread version is a true treat to have around the holidays!

I like to have one of these drinks while I’m wrapping Christmas presents. It seems to make the process go a little faster, plus it’s a lot of fun to have a fancy drink while you wrap presents.

Gingerbread White Russian

Back in 1949, a Belgian barman named Gustave Tops invited the White Russian Cocktail along with the black Russian. He made it at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels in honor of Perle Mesta. However, the White Russian didn’t become popular until the 1998 release of the film The Big Lebowski.
