Storage Tips

Storage -Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.

Freezing – Baked beans freeze well and can be stored for up to 6 months in the freezer. To freeze, let them cool completely before transferring to airtight containers or freezer bags. Label the containers with the date and contents before placing them in the freezer.

Reheating – Single servings can be reheated in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. However, I’ve found the best taste is to reheat them in a skillet or saucepot over medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until bubbly.

Make ahead – These baked beans with hamburger are great when made ahead. Cook your beef, assemble your casserole dish, and store it in the fridge covered with foil or plastic wrap until you are ready to bake it or for up to 24 hours.
