Chill in the fridge for at least two hours or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.

Hint: Lining your baking dish with parchment paper will allow you to easily remove the entire square of fudge for easy cutting. It also helps to prevent sticking.

Variations

  • Peanut Butter Oreo Fudge – Swap out the regular Oreo cookies for peanut butter-filled Oreo cookies and add in a 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter to the fudge mixture. This will give the fudge a delicious, nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the white chocolate.
  • Mint Chocolate Oreo Fudge – For a refreshing twist on the classic recipe, crush up some mint-filled Oreo cookies and add a few drops of mint extract to the fudge mixture. This will give the fudge a cool, minty flavor that’s perfect for the holiday season.
  • Double Chocolate Oreo Fudge – Add 1 cup of dark chocolate chips to the fudge mixture along with the white chocolate chips. This will create a rich, double chocolate flavor that’s perfect for serious chocolate lovers. Sprinkle additional crushed Oreo cookies on top for extra crunch!

Freezing – Yes, you can freeze this fudge! To freeze, wrap pieces of fudge in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer-safe container or bag. The fudge can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. To thaw, simply remove the fudge from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few hours before eating.

Pro Tips

  • Use quality ingredients – Since this fudge recipe is made with just a few ingredients, it’s important to use good quality products. Use high-quality white chocolate chips and fresh condensed milk for best results.
  • Melt white chocolate chips slowly – The microwave works great for melting. However, you could also melt them in a double boiler over low heat.
  • Add mix-ins carefully – Use a gentle hand when you add in the cookies so that you don’t overwork the fudge.
  • Use parchment paper – Line your pan with parchment paper to make it easy to remove the fudge once it has set.
  • Crushing the cookies: For this fudge you want small pieces of cookies not fine crumbs, so I don’t recommend using a food processor to chop the cookies.

FAQ

Do you have questions about this recipe? Here are the answers to the most commonly asked questions for this recipe.

Can I use milk or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate for this recipe?

While this recipe specifically calls for white chocolate, you could experiment with using milk or dark chocolate if you prefer. Just keep in mind that the flavor and texture of the fudge will likely be different.

Can homemade fudge be frozen?

Yes, homemade fudge is great when frozen for up to 3 months. Just make sure to protect it from freezer burn by using a freezer-safe container or storage bag.

How do you crush Oreos?

For this recipe having some larger pieces is okay, so I just gave them a rough chop with a sharp knife. But, you could also add them to a ziploc bag and roll a rolling pin over them to crush them up.
