- 18 ounces white chocolate chips
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 12 Oreo cookies coarsely chopped
Prepare an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking dish by lining it with waxed paper or parchment paper.
In a large, microwave-safe bowl, add the white chocolate chips and sweeten condensed milk. Microwave on high for one minute and then stir vigorously to allow the chocolate to continue melting from the residual heat.
Repeat the heating and stirring process and 15 second increments until the white chocolate is melted and smooth.
Fold in the chopped cookies.
Transfer the fudge to the prepared baking dish and spread into an even layer.
Refrigerate for at least two hours or until firm.
Cut into pieces and serves
- Melt white chocolate chips slowly - The microwave works great for melting. However, you could also melt them in a double boiler over low heat.
- Add mix-ins carefully - Use a gentle hand when you add in the cookies so that you don't overwork the fudge.
- Use parchment paper - Line your pan with parchment paper to make it easy to remove the fudge once it has set.
- Crushing the cookies: For this fudge you want small pieces of cookies not fine crumbs, so I don't recommend using a food processor to chop the cookies.
