TIPS AND FAQS
You can use any type of chocolate cake mix that you like. I prefer the triple chocolate to make the richest tasting cake.
When making your chocolate ganache, semi sweet chocolate chips make a less sweet ganache, and milk chocolate would make a sweeter ganache.
If you want to take the decorations of the cake up a notch or two, top with fresh berries and whipped cream, or chocolate shavings or ribbons.
If you do not want to grease and flour the bundt pan, make sure that you use Pam baking spray instead. Baking spray has the flour included and will help your cake come out smoothly. Do not use regular Pam spray. That will still stick.
HOW TO STORE THIS CAKE
Store your Tripe Chocolate Bundt Cake in an air tight container on the counter. Be sure to keep your cake away from heat sources to prevent melting.

Vanilla cake mix (as in directions) or chocolate (as in ingredients)?
wendy says
Thank you for catching my error! I shouldn’t write these so late at night! You need chocolate cake mix!

This looks amazing. Do you have a preferred bundt pan you like to use?
Pat says
2 boxes cake mix ?
Wendy says
Yes, it does use two cake mixes. Remember that a bundt cake pan is bigger than a regular cake pan. In the Instant Pot a does not rise, nor become as “fluffy” as a regular cake because it steams instead of bakes. So, it is denser and more compact. I hope that helps!
Laurice Robinet says
Is TWO cake mixes correct? That sounds as though it would overfill the bundt pan.
