This Little Debbie Ice Cream is the perfect blend of chocolate and peanut butter, and makes for the perfect homemade ice cream recipe.

Have you seen the viral Little Debbie’s Ice Cream? My family was able to try the Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Ice Cream and fell in love.

Sadly, we can’t find it in stores anymore, so I created my own. And, I am SO glad that I did. This ice cream is chocolatey, peanut buttery and oh so delicious.

🔪 How to Make Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Ice Cream

Step 1: Whip the heavy whipping cream and add peanut butter

Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Then add the peanut butter and combine with the whisk.

Step 3: Fold in the condensed milk

Add the condensed milk.

Step 4: Melt the chocolate chips

Melt the chocolate chips with a tablespoon of half and half, stir to form hot fudge.

Step 5: Chop the Little Debbie Bars

Chop nutty buddy bars into pieces and fold into ice cream.

Step 6: Add the ice cream mixture to a loaf pan

Pour ice cream mixing into a loaf pan 1/3 full. Add half of fudge. Swirl to make ribbons. Repeat step 6 until completely full. Then pour remaining ice cream mix in pan and top with a few nutty buddy pieces.

Step 7: Freeze

Freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Hint: using a chilled mixing bowl will help the peaks form.

📝Variations

Do you want to change up this recipe and make it your own? Here are some ways that you can do that!

Coconut: Add 1/2 cup of coconut flakes for extra sweetness.

Peanuts: For added crunch fold in 1/2 cup of roasted peanuts. I prefer to use unsalted peanuts.

Caramel: Instead of using hot fudge, use a caramel sauce instead.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon half and half
  • 6 little Debbie nutty buddy bars

Instructions

  • Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Add the peanut butter and combine with the whisk.
  • Add the condensed milk.
  • Melt the chip with a tablespoon of half and half, stir to form hot fudge.
  • Chop nutty buddy bars into pieces and fold into ice cream.
  • Pour ice cream mixing into bread pan 1/3 full. Add half of fudge. Swirl to make ribbons.
  • Repeat step 6 until completely full.
  • Then pour remaining ice cream mix in pan and top with a few nutty buddy pieces.
  • Freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Notes
