Are Christmas Tree Little Debbie’s that good?

You will find the Christmas Tree Little Debbie cakes are one of the most popular snack cakes. They are so popular and sell out fast when they get stocked on shelves.

Equipment

  • Large bowl
  • Electric Mixer
  • parchment or wax paper
  • serving bowl and platter

Ingredients

  • 17.04 ounces Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes crumbled
  • 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 16 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
  • ¼ cup red candy melts melted (optional)
  • Red and green colored sanding sugar optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat together the cakes, cream cheese, milk, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  • Fold in half of the whipped topping until blended. Then, stir in the remaining whipped topping.
  • (Optional) Place a piece of waxed paper on a flat surface. Place the red candy melts into a piping bag with the corner snipped. Drizzle a zig zag or wavy line onto the waxed paper and allow it to dry completely. Carefully remove the waxed paper and place the candy lines onto the dip.
  • Top the dip with colored sugar.
  • Serve with assorted cookies, fruit dippers, or pretzels.

Notes

  • Make sure to get the batter nice and mixed before adding the whipped cream. If you mix too much once you add whipped cream it can deflate if mixed too much.
  • Keep this dip cold into you are ready to serve it.
  • I like to serve this dip with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, Biscoff, or even Butter Cookies.
  • I used five of the big Christmas tree cakes but you can use two boxes of the smaller cakes instead.
