1cupshredded sharp cheddar cheeseplus additional for top if desired
3cupsbread flour
1 ¼teaspoonsactive dry yeast
Instructions
Place the ingredients in the bread machine in the order recommended by your bread machine’s manufacturer.
Program the bread machine using the “basic” setting for a 1 ½ pound loaf. When the cycle is completed, sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired, and close the lid to allow the cheese to melt.
When the cheese has melted, remove the bread from the baking pan and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
Make sure that you warm not hot water, otherwise you will kill the yeast.
