Ingredients

  • 2 cups Protein Pancake Mix
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 tablespoons ground flax seed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey Breakfast Sausage cooked & drained
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl combine the pancake mix, water, and flax seed. Stir until well combined.
  • Then fold in the syrup, cooked breakfast sausage, and the cheese until everything is coated in the batter.
  • Spoon the batter into a greased/sprayed mini muffin pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly then remove from the pan.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • Serve warm as is or with additional syrup for dipping and enjoy.
