Nutella Dessert Pizza

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • ¾ cup Nutella
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted (for brushing crust)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: sliced strawberries miniature m&ms, bananas, mini marshmallows, chopped nuts, powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (or according to your dough instructions). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  • Roll out pizza dough into a 10–12 inch circle and place on the prepared pan.

  • Brush the crust edges with melted butter. Immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until golden and cooked through.

  • Remove from oven and immediately spread Nutella over the warm crust, leaving a small border.

  • Add desired toppings and let sit for 2–3 minutes to warm through.
  • Slice and serve warm. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

  • Notes: If using m&ms as a topping, wait to place these just before serving as the candy coating will liquify against the strawberries.

Notes

  • Don’t overload the toppings or the crust might get soggy.
  • Warm the Nutella slightly if it’s too stiff to spread.
  • Add fruit toppings right after baking so they soften a bit.
  • Wait to add candy toppings like m&ms until just before serving.

Storage

Storage: Best served fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container at room temp for up to 1 day.
Freezing: Not recommended due to the texture of the toppings after thawing.
