  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Layer salami, ham, turkey, and provolone cheese evenly inside each roll.
Four sandwich rolls filled with slices of ham are on parchment paper, surrounded by plates and bowls of sliced vegetables, including onions, peppers, lettuce, and tomatoes.
  • Add tomato slices, red onion, banana peppers, and shredded lettuce over the meats and cheese.
Four sub sandwiches with sliced deli meat, tomato, red onion, and shredded lettuce on a sheet of brown parchment paper, next to two stacked white plates.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
A bowl of creamy white sauce with a whisk, surrounded by plates of sliced ham, turkey, and sandwich rolls on a white surface.
  • Spoon the grinder salad generously over the fillings.
Four sub sandwiches topped with shredded lettuce, sliced onions, tomatoes, and creamy dressing, arranged on parchment paper beside empty white plates and a jar of extra dressing.
  • Press the sandwich lightly, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Thinly slice the onions for the best texture.
  • Chill the dressing for extra flavor before serving.
  • Layer cheese directly against the bread to help prevent sogginess.
  • Slice sandwiches in half for easier serving.
