Creamy Steak Fettuccine

Ingredients

For the steak

  • 1 pound steak ribeye or sirloin, cubed
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil divided
  • Salt & Pepper To taste

For the Pasta:

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta cooks, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In a clean skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Add the cubed steak on top of the pasta.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and additional grated parmesan, if desired.
