- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas about 2-3 bananas
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional
- ½ teaspoon chopped nuts or chocolate chips optional
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, sweetened condensed milk, oil (or melted butter), and egg. Mix well until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon if using.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Do not overmix. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
