Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas about 2-3 bananas
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • ½ teaspoon chopped nuts or chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, sweetened condensed milk, oil (or melted butter), and egg. Mix well until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon if using.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Do not overmix. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
