Equipment

  • 9x13 baking dish
  • Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 42 ounces apple pie filling
  • 32 ounces cinnamon rolls cut into quarters
  • icing cups

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray
  • In a large bowl, fold together the cut cinnamon rolls and the apple pie filling.
  • Pour this mixture into the baking dish and smooth into an even layer.
  • Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and cinnamon rolls in the center are cooked through.
  • Allow to cool slightly, and then drizzle the reserved icing from the cinnamon rolls over top.

Notes

  • Baking Tip: Don’t cut the baking time short. Even if the edges look done, the center needs the full time to cook through.
  • Icing Tip: Let the cinnamon roll apple pie bake cool a bit before drizzling the icing so it sets nicely instead of sliding off.
  • Storing: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3–4 days.
  • Reheating: Warm in the microwave in 30–60 second bursts until heated through. For oven or toaster oven, heat at 325°F, covered with foil, to prevent over-browning.
