- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 32 ounces bag frozen tater tots
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess grease. Stir in garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Stir in the cooked beef mixture.
Spread the beef and soup mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with an even layer of tater tots.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the tater tots and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
