- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¾ cups milk dairy or non-dairy
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- Optional toppings: fresh berries banana slices, nuts, or a dollop of yogurt
