Equipment

  • 1 Champagne flute

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces apple cider fresh unsweetened
  • 3 ounces brut champagne or prosecco

Instructions

  • Pour the brut champagne into a champagne flute. Wait for the bubbles to settle, about 30 seconds.
  • Slowly pour the apple cider down the side of the flute.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy cold.

Notes

Use fresh unsweetened apple cider, not apple juice. The flavor is much brighter and more complex.
For a big batch, we mix one part apple cider to one part champagne in a pitcher and keep both chilled separately until ready to serve.
For a non-alcoholic version, swap the champagne for sparkling apple juice or ginger ale. It tastes just as festive!
