Equipment

  • Small microwave save bowl
  • piping bag
  • Scissors
  • Large bowl
  • measuring cup and spoon
  • cookie sheets

Ingredients

  • 17.5 ounces Peanut butter cookie mix you can also make homemade
  • 1 cup Milk chocolate cups or chocolate candy melt
  • 1 tablespoon Paramount crystals shortening or coconut oil
  • 48 Whoppers Or Malted Milk Balls

Instructions

  • Make the cookies as instructed on your cookie mix. I used 1 T balls for these cookies.
  • Allow the cookies to cool completely
  • Melt chocolate in a microwave safe container for 30 second increments, stirring between each session until chocolate is fully melted. Add a bit of paramount crystals if you need to thin out the chocolate.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool a bit and then place into a piping bag. Cut a small hole into the tip.
  • With the piping bag, pipe a line in the middle of the cookie and draw out 4 lines on each side of the cookies to create the spider arms. Place two whopper balls on the center line. Allow to the chocolate to set.

Notes

Instead of paramount crystals, you can also use coconut oil or vegetable shortening.
Store these cookies at room temperature for up to one week.
