Grinch Brownies

These Grinch brownies are the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit! They're super easy to make, and they taste just as delicious.

Equipment

  • 9x13 Baking Pan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • microwave-safe bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 boxed chocolate brownie mix
  • 2 cups chocolate sandwich cookies chopped
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • Green food coloring
  • 1 ½ cups green and red M&M Candy

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cookie spray. Set aside.
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to the directions on the package.
  • Chop chocolate sandwich cookies into bite size chunks. Mix ¾ of the cookie chunks into the brownie batter. Set the remaining cookie chunks aside.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Check the brownies for doneness.
  • Once baked, put the baking pan on a wire rack allowing the brownies to cool.
  • Pour the white chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 20 second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth and completely melted. Mix in the heavy cream.
  • Add 2-3 drops of green food coloring. Stir well to combine.
  • Drizzle the mixture on top of the brownies.
  • Sprinkle the remaining chopped cookies and M&M’s on top of the brownies. Chill for at least an hour.
  • Cut the brownies into bars.

Notes

  • Put these Grinch Brownies together with mint ice cream and your taste buds are going to explode!
  • Layer the frosting on thicker for a more festive look to your brownies.
  • Put the Oreo's on top of your brownies right before you serve them so that they don't become soggy.
  •  Get the whole family in the kitchen to help you make these brownies! And, have a great time.
