Equipment

  • Slow Cooker or Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 40 oz apple pie filling Equivalent to two cans
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons allspice
  • Cinnamon sugar for dusting optional

Instructions

  • Step 1: In a 6-quart crockpot dump the 2 cans of apple pie filling.
  • Steps 2-3: In a bowl mix together the cake mix, allspice and melted butter.
  • Step 4: Crumble the cake mix over the apple pie filling.
  • Step 5: Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream, whipped topping or ice cream.

Notes

Top with caramel sauce, whipped cream or ice cream.
