Apple Pie Bites

Ingredients

  • Pie Crust
  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoon butter, softened
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. 
  • Roll your dough out and use a small cookie cutter (or even the top of a jar!) to create small circles. Spray a small muffin pan with cooking spray and place the dough circles in so they fill the tin.
  • Scoop the batter into each mini pie crust.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool. Top with ice cream and cinnamon!

Notes

Don't have fresh apples in your home?  You can use canned pie filling.
