- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup unsulphured molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 16 ounces whipped topping thawed
Beat together the cream cheese, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg until well combined.
Fold in the whipped topping until well mixed.
Chill the dip for at least one hour before serving.
- The cream cheese needs to be softened. If you forgot to set it out, leave it in the foil liner. Then use warm not hot water and soak for 5 minutes. Check and then add fresh water if it isn't fully softened yet.
- Make sure to refrigerate the dessert dip once it is done, so that it can be a dippable treat.
