Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • cup brown sugar
  • cup unsulphured molasses
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 16 ounces whipped topping thawed

Instructions

  • Beat together the cream cheese, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg until well combined.
  • Fold in the whipped topping until well mixed.
  • Chill the dip for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

  • The cream cheese needs to be softened. If you forgot to set it out, leave it in the foil liner. Then use warm not hot water and soak for 5 minutes. Check and then add fresh water if it isn't fully softened yet.
  • Make sure to refrigerate the dessert dip once it is done, so that it can be a dippable treat.
