1Rotisserie Chickenremoved from the bone and shredded
4cupschicken stock
2cupswater
1box of long grain wild rice
2teaspoonItalian Seasoning
2bay leaves
2teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
½teaspooncayenne pepper
1tablespoonlemon juice
28oz artichoke hearts2- 14 oz cans drained
Instructions
In a slow cooker add all of your ingredients except the rice to the slow cooker
Turn your slow cooker on high.
Cook on high for 3 hours.
Add the long grain rice and seasoning packet.
Cook for 1 more hour. Or until the rice is tender.
Notes
Be sure to not allow the rice to cook too long, as it will soak up all your liquid. Cook rice until it is just tender. If you are reheating and the liquid has been soaked up just add more water when reheating.
