This classic takeout favorite is so quick and easy to make at home that you will forget all about those takeout menus. One of my favorite budget tricks is to find a way to make the foods that you love to eat out at home. Then, you will find yourself spending less and less on eating out and more on eating at home. This Beef Stir Fry has tender flank steak with crisp broccoli in a savory Chinese brown sauce with garlic and ginger and it only takes 35 mins to throw it into the Instant Pot.
I love Chinese food and in my opinion this Beef Stir Fry recipe is so quick to throw into the Instant Pot but yet so delicious that your family will prefer this over your favorite local Chinese Restaurant. You can have it finished before you could even order and have your order show up at your door. So, not only is it a time saver but it’s also better for your wallet.
This Instant Pot Beef Stir Fry is loaded with fresh vegetables and a tasty sauce plus it is a quick and easy dinner that your family will love. Most of the time I pair this Beef Stir Fry recipe with this Instant Pot Chicken Fried Rice recipe. It makes for the perfect Chinese night at home, and it’s drastically cheaper than takeout from your favorite Chinese Restaurant. I’m pretty sure that my local Chinese restaurant knew my phone number, order and address by heart before I started making this recipe at home.
I really enjoy cooking but I also have an auto immune disorder which can sometimes just suck the energy right out of me. The days when I’m just struggling are my favorite days to fire up my Instant Pot and have meals done in under 30 minutes with not a lot of prep work to go into it! And, every time I pull out this Beef Stir Fry recipe, that I always feel that I made a great meal for my family but also I got to save myself a little time and energy. My family thinks that this meal is beefy, garlicky, with the perfect tangy sauce to keep them satisfied. I try to always serve this with either Fried Rice or just steamed basmati rice.
If beef and broccoli is your go to order at PF Chang’s or Panda Express then this stir fry is going to be your new favorite Instant Pot recipe. We have a tradition in our household where I allow everyone to pick dinner at least one night a week. It saves me a little time on trying to come up with a few dinner ideas and it also allows the other people in the household to get a dinner that they will excited about and enjoy. It just seem fair that way. I prefer to make sure that everyone gets a least one meal a week that they really like. I also try to throw in a few family favorites a couple nights a week. You know those old standby recipes that everyone seems to like? This Beef Stir Fry is a great recipe and usually I make it on one of my nights to pick dinner because I LOVE Chinese food.
